RE: Tent camping at Chattanooga West KOA ?????
We found one at another camp ground. We were just wondering if this was typical of KOA'S policy toward tent campers? (We are new to the tent camping policies.Also in an e-mail sent to them last week they sounded very accomidating.(Maybe a bad day or something.)

Tent camping at Chattanooga West KOA ?????
We went to visit our children and grand children over the weekend which live in North Ga. Stopped at the above mentioned KOA. Was told by a young lady where the tent sites were. Sites were at the bottom of the camp ground on a VERY, VERY ROUGH road off on a small loop. Sites were VERY much in need of upkeep. I asked if it was possible to reserve a site closer to camp store, and amenities. Was told absolutely NOT on no uncertain terms. Is this typical of all KOA's or is it left up to the local owners?

:C I went out and bought us a 19" HDTV for the tent. Is this still considered camping, when I play video games late at night with the grand kids if I keep it turned down ?

:B Thanks jambo101. I called the most popular camp grounds, and even visited the local ones. All seem to be able to handle this size tent. We were really considering a travel trailer, but the economy being what it is. We really want to make memories with our grand kids being 4-7 yr's old, and living in the North West Ga. mountains. By the way that is a very nice camp site you have pictured.:B

:BI hear ya pal. It can be 25 to 90 degrees from Oct. to March. A couple of hundred bucks for the boot plus a small window unit, you in business.

Thanks Teambanzai. We will use it about 4-6 times a year with the 3 smallest grandkids ages 4-7.Planning on getting nice cots with good mattresses,along with the stand alone A/C with heat. Is this still considered camping?:C

Eureka 1512 Copper Canyon Tent?
:hSince the economy is what it is. Are any of you tent campers, familiar with the 1512 Eureka Copper Canyon tent?
